Richard Walker, widely known as Real Estate Rich, is a seasoned real estate professional with a wealth of experience across flipping, wholesaling, multi-family investing, Airbnb, assisted living, and private lending. His passion lies in helping everyday people take practical steps to build real wealth through real estate.
Richard’s journey into real estate started after graduating from Stanislaus State with a BS in General Business. He entered the market during a volatile period—and by 2007, he was a broker managing 13 properties, worth over $1 million on paper. Then the crash came. Within a year, he lost nearly everything, forced to sell properties for pennies on the dollar while raising three young children.
Instead of giving up, Richard rebuilt from scratch. He specialized in foreclosure inspections and trustee sales, mastering a niche that allowed him to flip over 100 multi-family units for investors in areas like the Bay Area and Stockton. His ability to thrive through hardship shaped the practical, no-fluff strategies he teaches today.
Through Real Estate Rich Academy, Richard empowers aspiring investors to start with what they have—credit, cash, or hustle—and finally move from stuck to successful. His mission is simple: to help people create financial security, unlock new opportunities, and live more fully through real estate.
